"Ingolstadt putzt sich raus!" - Sustainability event week for a clean city

During a mountain bike trip, our founder and CEO Christian Matzner had a great idea. On his route, the e.telligent managing director unfortunately noticed a lot of rubbish both on the paths and on the roadsides. For this reason, we at e.telligent have launched a sustainability campaign: "Ingolstadt putzt sich raus!"

Even though public reporting on environmental protection and sustainability has increased considerably in recent years, it seems that awareness of this issue is still far from reaching the population at large. For this reason, e.telligent is launching a sustainability initiative called "Ingolstadt putzt sich raus" (Ingolstadt cleans itself up), which welcomes to join anyone who is interested in to rid the city of Ingolstadt of inconsiderately disposed rubbish.

THE CAMPAIGN AT A GLANCE

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

We want to rid our city of inconsiderately disposed rubbish. To do this, we have to work together.

WHY?

We protect our environment and make Ingolstadt even more liveable.

WHEN?

From Monday, 05 July - Sunday, 11 July 2021 we will clean up! So we should all find time to join in.

HOW?

We just grab a bin bag and a pair of gloves and head out into the fresh air to clean up our city. Of course, we make sure to dispose of the collected rubbish properly!

WHERE?

We remove litter wherever it doesn't belong.

TAKE PART!

Full bags of rubbish, your route taken or the most "amazing" finds: share your experiences on social media under the hashtag #keepINclean and interact together on this channel to get as many people as possible moving for our environment. Here we report on tips and tricks for litter picking.

RAMADAMA - THE CLEANING EVENT OF INGOLSTÄDTER KOMMUNALBETRIEBE

With our campaign we want to appreciate and support the work of Ingolstadt's municipal services (Ingolstädter Kommunalbetriebe). For years, the municipal services have been calling on volunteers to clean up our city of as much rubbish as possible with their "Ramadama" campaign. The municipal services provide all participating groups with gloves and rubbish bags. More information about the Ramadama campaign can be found here.
